DevOps and data Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time Hybrid role for a DevOps and Data Engineer at Waya Bank. The DevOps and Data Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to the management of the cloud infrastructure, cicd pipeline, repositories, jenkins, Kubbernettes, AWS, deployment, devops security, pci dss certifications , data engineering, data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data analytics. The role will involve working closely with the development team and stakeholders to ensure efficient and reliable data management and analysis.

It is a Hybrid role: Once a week in the office while the rest days remote.

• Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
• Strong understanding of database technologies and SQL
• Experience with cloud platforms and services such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in the fintech or banking industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
