TechInsights is seeking a multidisciplinary engineer for a hybrid role in Ottawa, blending cloud operations and scientific Python development. Join a vibrant team driving AI/ML innovations in big data and image processing.

In this on-site position, you will bridge R&D and production through DevOps and scientific Python development. Your expertise in AWS, automation, and code quality will ensure seamless integration of research prototypes into production-grade modules. You’ll collaborate closely with the R&D team, infusing cutting-edge technology into scalable environments while adhering to engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, and Lambda
• Create CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and validation
• Develop scientific automation scripts for workflows
• Manage Kubernetes clusters for efficient operations
• Conduct applied AI/ML research and prototype models

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong Python skills in scientific computing
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch
• Familiarity with cloud-native production systems
• User-level Linux skills
