About the Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Architect to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of scalable cloud-native platforms. This role requires deep expertise in AWS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Databricks, along with strong architectural leadership to support enterprise-grade data and application platforms.
You will collaborate with engineering, data, and security teams to define DevOps strategy, establish best practices, and ensure high availability, performance, and security of our cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect end-to-end DevOps and cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS
- Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Architect and support Databricks environments for scalable data processing and analytics
- Establish CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and release strategies
- Ensure systems are secure, resilient, cost-optimized, and highly available
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives
- Collaborate with application, data, and security architects to align platform strategy
- Define DevOps standards, best practices, and governance
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers and platform teams
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, performance, and deployment issues
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Architecture
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services (EC2, EKS, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation
- Proven experience designing and supporting Databricks platforms
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)
- Deep knowledge of Linux, networking, security, and monitoring
- Experience working in enterprise-scale, production environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect – Professional preferred)
- Experience with data pipelines, Spark, and lakehouse architecture
- Exposure to SRE, observability, and FinOps practices
- Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash)
