Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Workflows.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for applications across environments.
• Integrate pipelines with tools for code quality, security scanning, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to streamline delivery.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Implement branching strategies, release management, and version control best practices.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize performance.
• Ensure compliance with DevSecOps practices (security, governance, and audit readiness).
• Document automation processes and provide knowledge transfer to teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions/Workflows.
• Proficiency in YAML scripting for pipeline definitions.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, Git, and branching strategies.
