Senior DevOps & Backend Engineer

What would you need?

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles within production environments.
• Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services such as ECS, RDS, S3, and CloudFront.
• Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI or similar).
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Proven experience developing and supporting backend services using Node.js.
• Experience working with containerized environments (Docker, ECS and/or EKS).
• Good understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and cloud security principles.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Dynatrace or similar).
• Ability to troubleshoot and operate high-availability production systems.
• Experience working in Agile environments, ideally in multi-team or scaled setups (e.g. LeSS).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional, international teams.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

What will you be doing?

• Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain Node.js backend services and APIs as part of product delivery.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and release processes.
• Implement and promote Infrastructure as Code practices with reusable and standardized patterns.
• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to embed DevOps practices and shared ownership.
• Improve system performance, scalability, and resilience in production environments.
• Participate in technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work in a product-oriented, Agile environment inspired by LeSS, focusing on continuous delivery and customer value.
• Drive automation and operational excellence to improve delivery speed, quality, and system stability.
