About the role
Your role in the team
- Implementation, operation, and continuous development of modern IT infrastructures and DevOps environments.
- Support of the departments in the implementation and use of DevOps platforms (e.g., GitLab CI, Artifactory) as well as container-based build and runtime environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, VMware).
- Coordination and moderation between departments and software development in projects.
- Standardization and automation of processes to optimize the work environment and IT workflows.
- Diagnosis and resolution of system and application issues in 2nd level support.
- Coordination of specialized departments in troubleshooting and implementing technical solutions.

Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of DevOps applications (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) as well as modern virtualization and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware).
- Interest in open-source solutions and solid knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Analytical skills, quick comprehension, strong communication skills, as well as team and customer orientation.
- Enthusiasm for complex challenges and digital transformation projects.
- Willingness to undergo a security check in accordance with the Hamburg Security Check and Confidentiality Act (HmbSÜGG).
Experience
- Knowledge of ITIL as well as experience in managing IT (sub)projects.
- Practical experience in data center operations, automation solutions, and containerization.
Education
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience.
