DevOps Cloud Engineer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

• You develop and maintain the Infrastructure-as-Code environment for GCP with Terraform and GitLab.
• In this role, you support the operation of the Kubernetes infrastructure with Flux in the sense of GitOps.
• You ensure the smooth operation of all applications provided as Docker images.
• As a system operations and DevOps specialist, you maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and the Container Registry.
• You operate and further develop the Kafka cluster and support the administration of MariaDB.
• In this role, you evaluate and implement monitoring solutions and contribute to architectural decisions from an operational perspective.

Qualifications

• You have several years of experience in the DevOps environment and in operating cloud infrastructures.
• You are proficient in Docker and have sound practical experience in orchestration with Kubernetes.
• You have experience in automating infrastructures with Terraform and in implementing pipelines with GitLab CI/CD.
• You are familiar with the operation of messaging systems like Kafka from practical experience.
• You speak fluent German and are business fluent in English; French is a big plus.
