DevOps / Cloud Engineer (m/w/d)

About the Role

For our client in Nuremberg, we are looking for a DevOps / Cloud Engineer (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps) and ensure fast, reliable deployments
• Design and manage cloud infrastructures on AWS, Azure, or GCP – from architecture to automation
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or comparable IaC tools
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog)
• Work closely with development teams and support agile software development through DevOps best practices
• Ensure the security and availability of the infrastructure and contribute to incident management processes
• Document architectures, runbooks, and processes for your team and subsequent colleagues

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, a STEM subject, or a comparable qualification (e.g., Fachinformatiker) with relevant practical experience
• 1–4 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes fundamentals)
• Knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or comparable)
• Solid Linux knowledge and experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Understanding of network and security concepts (firewalls, VPN, IAM)
• Agile working methods and teamwork in cross-functional teams
• Cloud certifications (AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, CKA) are a plus
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
