DevOPS Cloud Engineer - Senior

Responsibilities

• Assess frameworks, platform, or tech stack to assist in creating cloud-based solutions
• Design, build and support cloud environments to create digital
• Design, build, develop and administer CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment) pipeline to support continuous development and deployment of modular cloud-based systems
• Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment to ensure solutions are stable
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Create, test and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access

General Skills

• Experience in mobile device management for various versions of cellular and tablets
• Experience in one of the leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or Google Cloud
• Experience in maintaining complex Linux cloud environments, like CentOS, Ubuntu, or CoreOS, to support modern web technologies: LAMP, MEAN, Drupal and Elasticsearch
• Experience setting up development environments and mechanism using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Maven and Jenkins or similar tools
• Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Node
• Experience in build tools like Git, Ansible, Chef, Puppet for continuous integration
• Experience in application code containerization and container-based virtualization technology like Docker
• Experience in container management and orchestration to automate application deployment, application scaling/clustering, monitoring and others
• Integration experience in building and using APIs or other integration endpoints
• Experience applying industry web, architectural and security standards and best practices

Core Skills and Experience - 40 %

• 7+ years of experience in design, development, implementation and maintenance of large complex CRM systems such as Dynamics or other COTS CRM systems.
• 7+ years designing and implementing enterprise cloud solutions
• Proven experience designing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures
• Hands-on experience delivering cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives
• Experience developing architecture blueprints, reference architectures, and solution designs
• Experience working with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise security and compliance controls
• Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or product-oriented delivery environments
• Experience collaborating with enterprise architects, developers, security teams, and operations
• Experience presenting technical architecture to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Compute (VMs, containers, serverless), Networking and VPC design, Storage architectures, Managed databases, Identity and access management
• Hands on experience with Cloud architecture frameworks and best practices, High availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery design, Multi-region and multi-availability zone architectures, Microservices and distributed system design

Technical Skills and Experience - 40%

• Must have hands-on experience with n-tier web-based applications, Unix, Shell Scripting, Ant script, Javascript, XML/XSD, XSL, HTML5 and source code management tools like Subversion or CVS.
• Experience designing pipelines and automation with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD Jenkins
• Execute tasks on XSLT/XQuery/XPATH and transformation capabilities, hands on experience with Oxygen XSLT IDE or any XSLT IDE for creating and debugging XSL
• Extensive Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Managed services such as AKS, EKS, or GKE, Container orchestration design, Platform reliability and scaling
• Experience designing detailed functional and technical requirements for new and existing business solutions.
• Working knowledge in analyzing and designing changes to existing web-based software solutions
• Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies such as Agile development
• Experience with Cloud security architecture and zero-trust principles, Identity federation and RBAC, Encryption and key management, Security monitoring and logging
