The company is a socio-medical consulting and assessment service for statutory health and long-term care insurance in Thuringia, employing over 380 people. To strengthen the team, a DevOps / Data Engineer (w/m/d) with a focus on data platforms is sought for the earliest possible start date.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, further development, and operation of databases, particularly based on Microsoft SQL Server. Your daily tasks include analyzing and implementing business requirements regarding data structures, complex queries, as well as evaluations and reporting. You will quality assure and optimize SQL queries and database structures. You will also be involved in build, deployment, and operating processes, including maintaining pipelines and configuration adjustments. Support with monitoring, error analysis, and ensuring operational stability are also part of your tasks. In a dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to coordinate technical requirements with internal departments and external service providers and to document your solutions, operating procedures, and technical decisions. Requirements

The ideal candidate brings very good knowledge of SQL and relational databases, especially regarding complex queries, data models, and performance optimization. Practical experience in operating and further developing data-driven applications is required. Sound knowledge in the DevOps environment is also necessary, particularly in the areas of version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes (e.g., Jenkins). The ability to analyze technical contexts and communicate them understandably is of great importance. A structured and self-responsible way of working is assumed. Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, are essential. Experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana is desirable, as are basic Linux skills. Personal qualities such as teamwork, strong communication skills, and analytical thinking complete your profile.
