Responsibilities

• Infrastructure as Code: You build and configure cloud infrastructures using tools like Terraform and Kubernetes to deploy scalable, maintainable systems.
• System Setup & Provisioning: You take care of the initial setup of systems, ensuring that all necessary environments are deployed quickly and reliably.
• Automation of Development Processes: You design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Monitoring & Observability: You integrate monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, OpenTelemetry) and ensure that development and production environments are constantly optimized and monitored.
• Collaboration & Support: You work closely with developers to improve the development process, quickly resolve issues, and support the rollout of new features.
• Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization: You use OpenTelemetry and other observability tools to diagnose and resolve performance issues in the production environment.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, ideally in the context of CI/CD and automation.
• Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) and the automation of builds, tests, and deployments.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go to automate processes and create efficient solutions.
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry to monitor and improve system behavior.
• If you already have certifications in the relevant areas, that would be an advantage.
• Agile & Communicative: You are a team player, actively participate in agile processes, and communicate fluently in German and English.

Application Process

• Initially, there will be a casual first meeting with HR to provide insights, clarify mutual expectations, and answer general questions to establish an initial framework.
• The second interview will delve into technical depth, possibly including an assignment to complete. We will discuss project workflows, client projects, technical requirements, etc., naturally involving a subject matter expert for support.
• In the final step, there will be an opportunity to get a feel for the respective locations and meet the team over a shared lunch. You will also get to know the respective team leader and COO.
