Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a DevOps Engineer based in Unterschleißheim. The DevOps Engineer will work on automating and managing infrastructure as code, implementing and maintaining continuous integration pipelines, and overseeing system administration tasks with a focus on Windows and Linux. The role also involves collaborating with software development teams to streamline deployment processes and ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a DevOps Administrator specializing in Jenkins within the automotive domain.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible to automate and manage infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Software Development and Continuous Integration (CI) processes, including creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of System Administration tasks and expertise in managing Windows and Linux-based environments.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-based environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Candidates must hold a valid German driving license.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a bonus.
• A PhD or Master’s degree in the relevant field is considered a plus.
