Your role in the team

• As a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d), you will shape the operation of complex IT systems with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• At MERKUR Group, you will be involved in the implementation of Red Hat OpenShift.
• They support Performance Engineering for application servers and databases.
• They operate and utilize Git, promoting the shift towards a GitOps culture.
• In doing so, you should consider Zero Trust principles.

Our expectations:

Qualifications

• Knowledge in using OpenShift or Kubernetes
• Basic knowledge of Linux administration
• Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB is desirable.
• High comprehension and abstraction skills
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.

Education

• A completed IT apprenticeship or a degree in Computer Science
