DevOps Engineer

Your role in the team

• Ensuring the reliability and fault tolerance of our customer-oriented services (uptime, backups, fallback scenarios, error handling, etc.)

• Operation and Optimization of Containerized Workloads on Kubernetes in Microsoft Azure

• Provision of standardized CI/CD environments as well as continuous improvement of delivery workflows in collaboration with the engineering teams.

• Ensuring end-to-end observability and traceability - from requirements to operations

• Monitoring, analysis, and continuous optimization of build, release, and deployment pipelines.

• Implementation and operation of security-critical infrastructure for IoT products

• Active participation in a cross-functional, international engineering team and implementation of an agile DevOps mindset in practice.

Our expectations:

Qualifications

• Excellent automation and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, YAML)

• Solid understanding of operating systems, networks, and cloud infrastructure

• Knowledge of Git-based workflows and CI/CD (Azure DevOps Pipelines or comparable).

• Very good German and good English skills

Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a DevOps environment.

• Experience in the development and operation of production software systems.

• Experience with Kubernetes in production (Helm, ClusterOps, Networking) and Docker

• Monitoring and logging experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or comparable solutions

• Ideally, experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or comparable), IoT platforms and protocols (Azure IoT Hub, MQTT, AMQP), as well as NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
