Vacancy: DevOps Engineer (Netherlands) - Help build Digital Colleagues that really work

Imagine: you're building digital colleagues who conduct thousands of conversations daily, automate processes, and enable organizations to work smarter. Not a playground, but business-critical systems that run on powerful API ecosystems and process mountains of data.

At Dialog Group We're developing a robust platform that orchestrates business processes, document flows, and data exchange through intelligent, conversational interfaces. And we need you to help us do that.

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll ensure our platform remains stable, scalable, and future-proof. You'll maintain oversight, monitor quality, and drive continuous improvement.

What are you going to do?

With us, you don't just develop software. You help build a complete platform and contribute to your own growth.

Every day, you'll work both independently and collaboratively on the next steps in our proprietary applications. This includes expanding the Drag & Drop Flow Designer (our Dialog Flow Manager), further developing the FlowCore CRM solution, and adding new communication channels to connect customers even more effectively.

What you create has a direct impact: smart solutions that make the work of consultants and clients easier and more efficient.

Technically you move smoothly between PHP and Symfony 7 for the backend, JavaScript for the Drag & Drop editor and Angular for the chat interface.

We keep our stack modern, are open to innovation, and aren't afraid of complex migrations. In fact, it energizes us.

We are Dialog Group. Discover how we can add value to you, and you to us.

What does your role look like?

• You develop, maintain and optimize high-quality software and integrations

• You write clear, well-documented code according to high standards

• You test, debug and improve performance and security

• You actively contribute to code reviews and quality assurance

• You contribute ideas about architecture, DevOps strategy and process improvements

• You follow technological developments and apply them intelligently

You look beyond "it works." You ask, "Can it be better, faster, more stable?"

What are you bringing?

• You have a bachelor's degree in, for example, Software Engineering or Computer Science (or similar).

• You now have 2-5 years of experience as a Developer or DevOps Engineer.

• You are familiar with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

• CI/CD (GIT Pipelines) and databases such as MySQ/MariaDBL hold no secrets for you.

• You have knowledge of Docker and container ecosystems. Knowledge of Linux and Ansible is a plus.

• You have a keen eye for technical quality, an eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.

• You are customer-focused, critical, and proactive in suggesting improvements. You have a strong sense of responsibility.

What can you expect from us?

A varied role in a professional and friendly team where innovation and collaboration are key. You'll have plenty of room for your own ideas, experiments, and professional growth. Together, we'll work on stable, future-proof solutions that truly make an impact.

This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week. If you'd like to work 36 hours, that's certainly negotiable. We have a hybrid approach, meaning you'll work from home for part of your week, but we'd prefer you to be at our office with your colleagues.

We have a Performance Management System that offers more than enough opportunities for personal development.

With us, it's all about people. We have a flat, informal structure. Besides hard work, we also value relaxation and team building, with regular social activities such as boat trips, barbecues, pub quizzes, padel evenings.

Our offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the Czech Republic offer a pleasant working environment with flex spaces, quiet areas and relaxation facilities. We like to have lunch together at our central dining table and stimulate a good work-life balance.

Curious about what our digital colleague can look like in practice? Then take a look at our website.

Are you the DevOps Engineer who gets energy from complex systems, scalable architecture and smart automation?
