Position: DevOps Engineer – Ansible & Automation
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer - Ansible & Automation to join our HCLTech team at a prestigious client site in the banking sector, based in Paris.
This is a permanent, hybrid role offering the opportunity to work on‑site three days per week.
Overview
This position focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevOps solutions in a cloud‑centric environment. The engineer will automate infrastructure, manage CI/CD pipelines, and ensure the reliability and performance of cloud‑native applications. Collaboration with development, operations, and security teams is essential.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Docker
- Automate configuration management and deployments with Ansible
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions or similar tools
- Implement and optimize monitoring and logging solutions with Elastic Search
- Write automation scripts and tools in Python to streamline operations
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices in code integration and delivery
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the DevOps toolchain
- Ensure security and compliance in cloud environments
- Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, SAFe framework)
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Exposure to security best practices in DevOps
- Experience with additional automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Puppet)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration
- Ability to support incident response and root cause analysis
Mandatory Job Requirements
- Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management and automation
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments
- Experience with Elasticsearch for monitoring/logging or search solutions
- Strong Python scripting skills for automation and tooling
- Expertise in using GitHub for version control and CI/CD
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Fluency in French and English
