Responsibilities

• You operate and automate our private cloud and datacenter infrastructures (e.g. Nutanix/KVM, Veeam, Windows, Linux Server, Ansible, Microsoft Defender).
• You support the operational management of our datacenter networks.
• You take over basic network management and ensure secure, stable operation.
• You continuously develop our private cloud datacenter architecture.
• You design manufacturer-neutral, transparent transitions to public cloud providers and hyperscalers.
• You actively contribute to ensuring our digital sovereignty in the datacenter.
• You standardize, automate, and document infrastructure processes.
• You evaluate new technologies and contribute your own ideas for innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• You have completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical field – or have completed training as an IT specialist with relevant professional experience.
• You have knowledge in at least one of the areas Server/Storage Management, Datacenter Infrastructure, Security, or Network.
• You have a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
• You have experience in managing external service providers.
• You communicate confidently in German and English for technical coordination within the international team.
• You are team-oriented, responsible, and self-organized.
• You have basic knowledge or the willingness to familiarize yourself with Kubernetes, Docker, GIT, Linux, APIs, SDN, and OpenStack, among others.
• You have a strong technical understanding and enjoy thinking holistically about complex infrastructures.
