DevOps Engineer (AWS & Kubernetes)

The Role

I’m looking to speak with DevOps Engineers who enjoy taking ownership of cloud infrastructure and platform operations in high-growth environments.

You’ll be the dedicated DevOps Engineer supporting the German engineering team, working closely with developers to troubleshoot issues, improve infrastructure, and drive automation. While there’s support from a US-based infrastructure team, this role requires someone comfortable owning the German environment end-to-end.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing and scaling AWS infrastructure
• Building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
• Managing infrastructure as code with Terraform
• Building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Supporting Postgres databases and AWS Secrets Manager
• Troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues
• Improving platform reliability, scalability, and automation

Requirements

• 4–5 years of DevOps or Platform Engineering experience
• Strong AWS and Kubernetes experience
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, and GitHub Actions
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and cloud infrastructure best practices
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent commercial experience

Nice to Have

• Serverless or microservices experience
• Advanced scripting or configuration management experience
• Experience in high-growth product companies
