DevOps Engineer / AWS DevOps Consultant

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer / AWS DevOps Consultant with strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and Java-based application environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable DevOps solutions that enable reliable, secure, and efficient software delivery across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement DevOps solutions for cloud-native and enterprise applications.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve release quality and deployment efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high system availability and operational excellence.
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Work with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and related DevOps tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Java applications.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and performance in AWS environments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on DevOps best practices and AWS architecture.
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing DevOps processes, tools, and deployment strategies.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation.

Required Skills

• 5–10+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, CI/CD automation, and cloud-based deployments.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and DevOps practices.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo, or similar platforms.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Bash.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration concepts.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK, or Prometheus.
• Proficiency in Java programming and troubleshooting Java-based applications.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
