For our Data, Security and Identity business unit within the Analytics Tribe, we are looking for you, full-time or part-time (from 30 hours per week), as a DevOps Engineer Big Data (m/f/d) in Karlsruhe or Münster. Your role will be assigned to the Transition Squad, where you will collaborate with 5 colleagues across different locations and with diverse interfaces.
Responsibilities
- You will accompany and shape the future-oriented transformation of our current Big Data Analytics world towards the rapidly growing AI and cloud technology environment (Open Shift, S3, and Databricks).
- You will automate the data management of our data products, be responsible for monitoring the corresponding processes, and support the selection of new technologies for our new Data Lakehouse environment (Data Integration Hub).
- You will be responsible for incident and problem management within the scope of 2nd level support / interface to manufacturer support and are prepared for potential regular on-call duty.
- You will ensure operational security, delivery speed, and quality throughout the entire product lifecycle (On-Prem, Private, and Public Cloud).
- You will work in a cross-functional work environment/team and enjoy contributing to software architectures and working with new technologies.
Requirements
- You have a completed degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification in the IT field with several years of professional experience.
- You possess very good knowledge in Linux, networking, and operating applications on Open Shift. Ideally, you also have experience with Spark and working with public cloud providers (e.g., integration and use of Databricks).
- You enjoy agile, cross-functional teams and working methods, are familiar with tools like GIT, Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines, and ideally have knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
- You have fluent German language skills (at least C1 level) and good English language skills (B2 level).
- You have a motivated, self-reliant, and team-oriented work approach, which you apply within the tribe and in other cross-functional service and business areas.

Requirements
- Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium der (Wirtschafts-) Informatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation im IT-Bereich mit mehrjähriger Berufserfahrung.
- Du besitzt sehr gute Kenntnisse im Bereich Linux, Netzwerk und im Betrieb von Applikationen auf Open Shift, idealerweise hast du auch schon Erfahrung mit Spark und im Umgang mit Public Cloud Providern (z.B. der Integration und Nutzung von Databricks) gesammelt
- Du hast Spaß an agilen, crossfunktionalen Teams und Arbeitsmethoden, kennst dich mit der Verwendung von entsprechenden Werkzeugen wie GIT, Jira, Confluence und CI/CD-Pipelines aus und hast bestenfalls Kenntnisse in Infrastructure as code (z.B. Terraform)

- Du stellst die Betriebssicherheit, Auslieferungsgeschwindigkeit sowie die Qualität über den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus hinweg (On-Prem, Private und Public Cloud) sicher.
- Du arbeitest in einem cross-funktionalen Arbeitsumfeld/Team und hast Freude an der Mitgestaltung von Softwarearchitekturen und an der Arbeit mit neuen Technologien.
