DevOps Engineer (Integration) C5I

What you'll do
- Plan, develop, and optimize integration solutions for complex ICT platforms with a focus on stable and efficient system landscapes.
- Automate development and operating processes and further develop CI/CD-related deployments and integration workflows.
- Develop scripts, interfaces, and technical integrations between applications, components, and modules.
- Take responsibility for API design and management, as well as processing data formats and data transformations.
- Build and manage messaging, event streaming, and ETL processes, and integrate modern IPaaS solutions.
- Ensure necessary development, test, and production systems, including networks and container platforms.
- Monitor application availability, performance, recoverability, and resource consumption, as well as troubleshooting and monitoring.
- Maintain and develop system technical documentation.
What you bring
- Degree in Computer Science or vocational training as an IT specialist EFZ, or technically adept career changer with corresponding further training and professional experience.
- In-depth experience in integrations, interface management, and automation of system landscapes.
- Knowledge of API design, data formats, data transformation, and messaging and event streaming technologies.
- Experience with GitLab or Azure DevOps and automation tools such as CI/CD, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Experience with container and virtualization technologies, ideally with Kubernetes, VMware, and Nutanix.
- Analytical, independent, and proactive work approach with a high degree of solution orientation.
- Fluent German language skills; English and/or French skills are an advantage.
- Military career as a higher non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage.

The C5I Business Area of RUAG MRO Holding AG supports the army in the realization of ICT projects with a specific focus on Command Cyber.
