Mission Overview

The DevOps – CD Tools Expert contributes to the design, administration, and enhancement of the SG Group’s central CI/CD tooling ecosystem. The mission focuses on the evolution, support, and optimization of ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, and XL‑Deploy, ensuring secure, reliable, and automated delivery pipelines across the enterprise. The engineer provides operational support, feature development, and platform improvements for deployment systems. The role also involves managing incidents/changes/problems and producing technical documentation. Work is performed within an Agile and cloud‑aligned environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and provide advanced technical support for ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, and XL‑Deploy deployment platforms.
• Develop new features, enablers, automation scripts, and improvements for the continuous delivery toolchain.
• Manage incident, change, and problem processes for CI/CD tools.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for users and technical teams.
• Collaborate with teams on Azure/AWS cloud environments and contribute to enhancement of the technical foundation.
• Ensure reliability, security, and performance of deployment platforms.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands‑on expertise with ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, XL‑Deploy.
• DevOps development/scripting: Shell, Perl, Python, PHP, Git, GitHub.
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools and practices.
• Docker containerization.
• Cloud exposure: AWS and Azure.
• Strong experience on Linux systems.
• Ability to manage, troubleshoot, and improve enterprise deployment tooling.

Additional Skills (Good to have)

• Experience in large-scale enterprise CI/CD environments.
• Knowledge of automation ecosystem tools (Ansible).
• Experience collaborating with Security & Cloud Engineering teams.
• Capacity to analyze complex delivery workflows and optimize deployment processes.
• Ability to mentor teams on Continuous Delivery best practices.

Specific Requirements

• Role executed at SG premises in Île‑de‑France, 50% remote.
• Ability to manage multiple components of the CI/CD ecosystem.
• Expected to deliver technical deliverables and updated documentation.
