Your Role

We are currently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer for a client in the Wil area. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic development team, working on the conception, development, and implementation of state-of-the-art software solutions.

Your Responsibilities

• As a team, you will set up the respective container platform and integrate it into the client's cloud system landscape.
• You will primarily work with Kubernetes, partly vanilla, partly integrated into a cloud environment (e.g., Red Hat Openshift, RKE).
• You will use Infrastructure-as-Code principles to automate environments as much as possible.
• Security plays an important role, e.g., through hardening, secrets management, or compliance with security standards.
• You will support the development of CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems.
• Furthermore, you will contribute your experience and ideas both in the project and in the community, evaluating them together with your colleagues.

Your Profile

• Completed IT-oriented vocational training, completed IT-oriented studies, or corresponding relevant professional experience
• Experience with Kubernetes, vanilla, and/or in a cloud environment
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Vagrant, or similar)
• Ideally, experience with IBM Cloud Paks or IBM Fusion
• Good communication skills with very good German language skills (Level C1 or higher)
