Curious? Then apply now and shape the future of water with us.
Your Tasks in Detail
- You will take our CI/CT/CD pipelines for embedded systems to the next level – from setup and operation to continuous development.
- Builds, tests, and deployments don't just happen "somehow" with you, but are automated, stable, and reproducible.
- You will set up development, test, and integration environments that run reliably and grow with the requirements.
- You will find the right tools at the right time, integrate them meaningfully into existing processes, and keep the toolchain technically up-to-date.
- Together with firmware, hardware, and system development, you will bring topics from analysis and optimization to troubleshooting to a successful conclusion.
- In design and architecture reviews, you will contribute the DevOps perspective and support with honest sparring on best practices.
- When things get complex, you stay on it: You will accompany system tests, commissioning, and systematically investigate errors in a solution-oriented manner.
- Collaboration with external development partners also runs smoothly: You will coordinate technical topics and ensure smooth cooperation.
Your Technical Profile
- You have several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in an embedded environment and are very familiar with firmware and software development.
- CI/CT/CD is part of your daily routine: You know how pipelines are built and how they run stably and efficiently.
- You live DevOps principles – tools like Git, Docker, Python, or Shell/Bash are a matter of course for you.
- You work securely and routinely with version control and build systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bamboo).
- You have experience in selecting, introducing, and operating CI/CT/CD tools and know what matters in practice.
- Test automation is not new territory for you – ideally, you have worked with frameworks like pytest and use scripting (e.g., Python) to make things more efficient.
- You make your daily work easier with the help of AI-supported tools.
- Experience with Embedded Linux and Yocto is a plus, but not a must.
- You are familiar with agile working methods and routinely use tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, or GitHub in your daily work.
This is How You Fit Perfectly into the Team
- You are eager to make a real difference – and approach topics with energy and initiative.
- You place great importance on teamwork: You share knowledge, support others, and are happy about shared successes.
- You remain curious, try things out, and enjoy developing yourself – professionally and personally.
- When things get tricky, you stick with it – with calm, structure, and a clear focus on solutions.
- You don't just think in problems, but above all in solutions – pragmatic, creative, and with an eye on the essentials.
- Communication comes easily to you: You clearly convey your ideas and listen just as well.
- Very good German skills (C-level) and good English skills make you our perfect reinforcement!
