Your Role

For this client, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer for an AI Infrastructure / 100% Remote Work Possible (m/f/d) for permanent employment at the Hannover location as soon as possible.

Main Responsibilities

• Hosting and operating highly available and scalable local AI models
• Setting up and managing services and databases in our data center with our own GPU servers
• Managing Kubernetes clusters, deployments, and AI components with well-thought-out logging & monitoring
• Providing and automating robust CI/CD processes with flexible stages and environments for secure development
• Accompanying rollouts of our AI applications
• Administration and performance optimization of vector databases (e.g., PGVector, Weaviate, Qdrant) with caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis)

Your Technical Qualifications

• Sound practical experience with Kubernetes, cluster management, containerization, CI/CD, and self-hosting of AI models
• Good knowledge in the areas of networking (ingress/egress), logging/monitoring, and AppSec/data security
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, and the like
• Good programming skills in Python
• Practical experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and AI Engineering (fine-tuning, prompt engineering) are advantageous
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, are required
