The Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated DevOps Engineer to operate software solutions developed for fraud detection. You will work in a team of specialists and be jointly responsible for fraud detection in payment transactions with bank cards. In this position, you will be an integral part of a DevOps team that builds and operates a state-of-the-art tech stack. You will not only be in constant contact with customers, external system specialists, and suppliers, but also gain a comprehensive understanding of the fraud detection business area.

Who We Are Looking For

• Ethics are important to you, and you are interested in security and fraud prevention.
• You have higher education in computer science and/or systems engineering/DevOps/SRE.
• Profound knowledge in scripting and databases (SQL, Shell, Ansible, and optionally Go/Python/Java).
• Several years (> 5 years) of experience in agile software development or DevOps.
• Experience with monitoring and log management (Grafana, Prometheus, or Elasticsearch).
• Experience with high-throughput transaction and queuing systems (Apache Kafka).
• Confident handling of encryption technologies and certificate management.
• Candidates with knowledge in the areas of containers and cloud are an advantage.
• Customer-oriented and independent way of working.
• Analytical and networked thinking.
• Flexible, creative, motivated, and pragmatic team player.
• Very good English and good German language skills.
