Senior DevOps Engineer

About

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, automation, and scalability of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms. This role requires strong expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, and system reliability, along with the ability to mentor teams and drive DevOps best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Architecture

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
• Lead Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Architect multi-region, fault-tolerant systems.
• Drive cloud cost optimization and capacity planning strategies.

CI/CD & Automation

• Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Standardize deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling updates).
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Improve deployment efficiency and reduce failure rates.

Reliability & Observability

• Define and manage SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
• Continuously improve system reliability and reduce MTTR.

Security & Compliance

• Integrate DevSecOps practices into pipelines.
• Implement secure access controls, secrets management, and IAM policies.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams.
• Influence architectural decisions and improve system performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
• Expertise in at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes (production-grade clusters).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of networking (DNS, load balancing, TLS/SSL).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
