DevOps Engineer (Integration)

About

For our client, a leading Swiss technology group, we are looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer (Integration) for the Dübendorf location.

Responsibilities

• Planning, development, and optimization of integration solutions for complex ICT platforms with a focus on stable and efficient system landscapes
• Automation of development and operational processes, as well as further development of CI/CD-related deployments and integration workflows
• Development of scripts, interfaces, and technical integrations between applications, components, and modules
• Responsibility for API design and management, as well as processing of data formats and data transformations
• Building and managing messaging, event streaming, and ETL processes, as well as integrating modern IPaaS solutions
• Ensuring the required development, test, and production systems, including networks and container platforms
• Monitoring availability, performance, recoverability, and resource consumption of applications, as well as troubleshooting and monitoring
• Maintenance and further development of system technical documentation

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or vocational training as an IT specialist (EFZ), or a technically adept career changer with relevant further education and professional experience
• In-depth experience in integrations, interface management, and automation of system landscapes
• Knowledge of API design, data formats, data transformation, as well as messaging and event streaming technologies
• Experience with GitLab or Azure DevOps, as well as with automation tools like CI/CD, Ansible, or Terraform
• Experience with container and virtualization technologies, and ideally with Kubernetes, VMware, and Nutanix
• Analytical, independent, and proactive work style with a high degree of solution orientation
• Fluent German language skills; English and/or French skills are an advantage
• Clean criminal record
