About the role
Your role in the team
- Implementation, operation, and continuous development of modern IT infrastructure and DevOps environments.
- Support of the specialist departments with DevOps platforms (e.g., GitLab CI, Artifactory) and container-based build and runtime environments (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware).
- Liaison between business units and software development in projects.
- Standardization and automation of IT processes (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
- Analysis and resolution of system and application issues in 2nd level support.
- Participation in the optimization of IT and data center operations as well as the introduction of new technologies.

Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of DevOps applications (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab CI) as well as virtualization and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware).
- Interest in open-source solutions and knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Analytical skills, quick comprehension, strong communication skills, as well as team and customer orientation.
- Enjoyment of complex tasks and digital transformation projects.
- Willingness to undergo a security check in accordance with the Hamburg Security Check and Confidentiality Act (HmbSÜGG).
Experience
- ITIL knowledge and experience in managing IT (sub)projects.
- Practical experience in data center operations, automation, and containerization.
Education
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification with several years of relevant professional experience.
