About the role
Your role in the team
- You develop, operate, and improve our CI/CD pipelines for robotics software and related platforms.
- You automate build, test, and release processes for our AMR software - from the development environment to deployment on real robots.
- You are responsible for stable developer workflows for our teams, e.g., for local setups, build environments, toolchains, and automated testing processes.
- You support remote updates, self-tests, as well as rollout and recovery processes for our robot fleet.
- You work closely with software development, robotics, and testing to improve quality, release speed, and traceability.
- You maintain and further develop our Linux-based infrastructure, development, and integration environments.
- You continuously improve the security and reliability of our systems - from access and artifacts to deployment and update processes.
- You bring structure to complex technical processes and help to build our robotics platform in a scalable way.

Our expectations:
Qualifications
- You are familiar with containerized environments, ideally with Docker as well as build and tooling setups for software products.
- You naturally utilize advanced AI tools and agents to maximize the efficiency of your working hours.
- You have already worked on technically demanding software or robotics systems - ideally in the environment of AMRs, mobile robots, or industrial systems.
- You have experience with ROS/ROS 2 or have a strong interest in quickly familiarizing yourself with robotics-specific development processes.
- You understand the nuances of software that must run not only in the cloud but also on real hardware in the field.
- You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner and are eager to implement things pragmatically.
- You have a hands-on mentality, an agile mindset, and enjoy collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.
- You are ready to work primarily on-site with us in Regenstauf.
- You have very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken (at least C1 level in each).
Experience
- You have extensive experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Linux-based development and deployment environments.
- You bring practical experience with CI/CD, automation, version control, and reproducible build processes.
