Currently, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for a client company in the Bern region. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic development team and work on the conception, development, and implementation of state-of-the-art software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of requirements and coordination with interfaces to define suitable software solutions
• Development, implementation, and optimization of technical concepts and software components
• Automation, maintenance, and further development of existing software applications
• Conducting tests to ensure quality and functionality
• Use of modern development methods (e.g., version control, code reviews, CI/CD) and common tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, IntelliJ IDEA
• Installation, updating, and release coordination of development environments
• Collaboration in cross-functional teams and maintenance of knowledge documentation

Profile

What you should bring as a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d):

• Successfully completed studies in the IT field or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in software development, as well as a willingness for continuous development in modern technologies and methods
• Sound knowledge of modern software architectures and tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or IntelliJ IDEA
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Proficient in using development tools IntelliJ IDEA, Java SDKs, Git-Client, Maven
• High degree of personal responsibility, analytical thinking, and quality awareness
