What You Can Be Responsible For

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with development, operations, and architecture to ensure software is reliably delivered from commit to production runtime environment. You will support the stable, secure, and automated operation and further development of our Internal Developer Platform, Cloud, and Kubernetes environments. You will develop and operate CI/CD and GitOps workflows, helping to automate deployments, tests, security scans, and releases. You will automate infrastructure and platform operations with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform/Open Tofu) and actively contribute to improving processes and developer experience. You will operate and integrate central platform services such as Identity & Access Management, Ingress/Reverse Proxies, TLS & Certificates, as well as databases or messaging components, and assist in analyzing and resolving issues.

Your Skills

You bring a solid technical education or degree and first to several years of practical experience in cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering environments. The following prerequisites will make your start with us easier:

• Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, as well as experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins) and Git-based workflows, including GitOps
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure), basic knowledge of networks, TLS, DNS, and operating Linux systems
• You are comfortable in a polyglot engineering environment and have practical experience with scripting or programming languages like Bash, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
• You work in a structured, learning-oriented, and team-oriented manner, communicate confidently in German, and are eager to develop professionally and technically.
