About the role
About ZUFALL logistics group
The ZUFALL logistics group is a family-run logistics company with over 2,000 employees at 40 locations. We offer our customers tailor-made logistics solutions and focus on modern technology and sustainability.
Your Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you are the driving force behind the stability, scalability, and automation of our platform – an internal innovation project that revolutionizes how we manage logistics processes. You will work closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Software Developers, ensuring that new features go live quickly, safely, and reliably.
How you will shape this role
You will build the technical foundation for a future-oriented software product that redefines operational logistics processes. With your automation solutions, you will make our platform efficient, scalable, and ready for future requirements. You will ensure that we operate on a modern, robust, and secure infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Automation Professional: Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments to deliver new features quickly and safely.
- Cloud Specialist: Design and manage our cloud-based Kubernetes infrastructure across multiple environments.
- Observability Expert: Implement and operate our monitoring stack, identify bottlenecks, and ensure maximum stability and transparency.
What you should bring
- Professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or comparable experience.
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge in Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Interest in monitoring and observability topics.
- Team spirit and enjoyment of agile collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience in the logistics environment.
- Knowledge in Identity Management (Keycloak, OAuth2/OIDC).
How we work
You will be part of a small, agile project team with a Product Owner, Scrum Master, and several developers. The team develops with Java/Spring Boot in the backend and Angular in the frontend – you don't need to master these technologies, but a basic understanding helps with collaboration. We work independently and on an equal footing – input and ideas are explicitly welcome.
