Your Mission as DevOps Engineer:
- You will introduce and maintain modern CI/CD SW development tools for Thales's own product development and the associated user support.
- Provision and maintenance of software-based infrastructure and clusters based on virtualization and orchestration.
- You will be involved in the introduction of an on-premises cloud and the migration of the development environment to the cloud.
- You will consider all specifications in the security-relevant environment as well as business continuity requirements in conception and implementation.
- Definition and implementation of improvement measures to increase customer satisfaction.
What we're looking for:
- Successfully completed studies in computer science, a completed vocational training in computer science, or a comparable qualification, as well as several years of professional experience.
- Confident handling of common server operating systems (Linux and Windows), virtualization (VMware ESXi) and cloud solutions (VMware VCF) as well as network solution VMware NSX.
- Ideally, experience with one or more container tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes/Tanzu), automation tools (VRA/VRO, Ansible, Terraform), development tools (GitLab, Artifactory, SonarCube, Blackduck).
- ISO27001, ITIL certification and basic IT security knowledge are an advantage.
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- You bring customer-oriented thinking and action, an independent and goal-oriented way of working, as well as strong teamwork skills and commitment.
