DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) – Power Platform / Power Apps

ZUFALL logistics group

flexible Full-time Mid Level Yesterday

About the role

About Us

The ZUFALL logistics group is a family-run logistics company with over 2,200 employees at 40 locations. We offer our customers tailor-made logistics solutions, focusing on modern technology and sustainability.

Your Role

As a DevOps Engineer with a focus on the Power Platform, you will be responsible for the stable operation, automation, and secure deployment of our solutions – from classic services to Power Apps (Canvas/Model-Driven) and Power Platform components. You will work at the interface between development, IT operations, security, and the business departments, bringing solutions into production quickly, reliably, and compliantly.

What You'll Do

  • Develop individual solutions based on the Microsoft Power Platform that noticeably simplify our logistics, administration, and support processes.
  • Create Power Apps – both Model-Driven Apps and Canvas Apps – and design intuitive applications for our teams.
  • Model and automate workflows with Power Automate to reduce manual work steps and make processes transparent.
  • Implement modern AI solutions and agents, e.g., with Copilot Studio, and support us in integrating AI meaningfully and securely into our processes.
  • Analyze requirements from business areas such as transshipment, dispatch, HR, or sales and translate them into smart, lean digital solutions.
  • Accompany the entire development process – from the initial idea through the Proof of Concept to rollout into productive operation.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions into existing system landscapes (e.g., TMS, WMS, CRM).
  • Document your solutions, establish standards, and empower colleagues to independently create smaller applications, automations, or reports using low-code tools from the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Design and operate the Power Platform and application landscape sustainably and continuously develop CI/CD pipelines for applications and Power Platform artifacts (e.g., Solutions, Flows, Environment Variables).
  • Automate build, test, and release processes, implementing modern DevOps principles (e.g., Infrastructure/Configuration as Code, Release Gates, Approval Workflows).
  • Be responsible for the stable operation, monitoring, and incident handling of applications and integrations – with a clear SLA/SLO orientation.
  • Establish and improve observability concepts (logging, metrics, alerts, tracing) and develop practical runbooks for operations.
  • Ensure a secure software supply chain, including secrets management, artifact signing, least privilege concepts, and secure DevOps practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate, BI, Dataverse) and Microsoft Azure.
  • Passion and enjoyment in developing low-code and no-code solutions based on modern cloud technologies.
  • Understanding of data modeling, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Ideally, initial insights into the IT processes of a logistics, industrial, or service company – or the willingness to familiarize yourself with our workflows.
  • Enjoyment in reducing complexity and building solutions that really work in everyday life.
  • A solution-oriented, structured way of working and a desire for exchange with different departments.
  • Several years of experience in DevOps, software deployment, or platform operations.
  • Very good understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and release management.
  • Practical experience in developing Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-Driven) and working with Power Platform Solutions.
