Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

Must Have Current or Previous NSA Clearance

Compensation: $140,000 – $220,000+ (Flexible Based on Experience)

About the Role

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who actually builds, not just maintains. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and software engineering—owning the systems that enable fast, reliable, and secure delivery at scale within NSA mission environments.

You’ll work closely with engineering and security teams to design, implement, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines supporting highly secure, mission-critical systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud)

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Pulumi)

• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes

• Improve system reliability, observability, and performance

• Automate deployments, monitoring, and operational workflows

• Partner with engineering teams to streamline release cycles and reduce friction

• Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines

• Support highly secure, mission-critical NSA environments

What You Bring

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

• Current or previous NSA customer experience REQUIRED

• 3–10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering

• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or cloud infrastructure platforms

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• CI/CD pipeline development and optimization experience

• Scripting or programming skills (Python, Bash, or Go)

• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog)

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in distributed systems

Nice to Have

• Experience in high-security DoD or Intelligence Community environments

• DevSecOps experience

• Familiarity with microservices, service mesh, or event-driven architecture

• Security+ or cloud certifications
