Job Description

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and internals, including Control Plane components and etcd.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes installation and configuration on bare metal and cloud platforms (AKS/EKS).
• Proven experience writing and managing Kubernetes YAML files for deployments and infrastructure resources.
• Hands-on experience with Rancher-managed Kubernetes clusters, including:
  • RKE1 and RKE2
  • Cluster migration and upgrade strategies
• Solid experience with Red Hat Linux administration, including:
  • Filesystem management
  • Backup and restore procedures
  • OS troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Harness and Git Hub Actions.
• Strong proficiency with Git and Docker.
• Expertise in Kubernetes troubleshooting and production support.
• Experience with cluster scaling, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools:
  • Prometheus (metrics and alerting)
  • Splunk (log aggregation and analysis)
  • Dynatrace (APM and infrastructure monitoring)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security, RBAC, secrets management, and best practices.
