### **Job descriptions & requirements** • *Position:** DevOps Engineer – Ubuntu Expert • *Type:** Hourly contract • *Compensation:** $60–$120/hour • *Location:** Remote • *Commitment:** 10–40 hours/week • *Role Responsibilities**

- Audit guidance for Ubuntu systems including security, firewall, and kernel configurations. - Evaluate package management workflows using APT, Snap, and PPA. - Review Bash scripts for accuracy, security, and compliance with Ubuntu standards. - Assess system setup processes including LAMP/LEMP stacks and systemd configurations. - Contribute to secure and scalable cloud infrastructure design using Ubuntu. - Document findings and provide clear, actionable improvements. • *Requirements**

- Expert-level experience with Ubuntu and Linux command-line environments. - Strong knowledge of system security, permissions, SSH, and access control. - Experience with shell scripting and automation in Linux environments. - Familiarity with cloud architecture and infrastructure management. - Ability to analyze logs and system performance using monitoring tools. - Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts clearly. • *Application Process (Takes 20 Min)**
