DevOps Engineer & SRE (GCP Ownership)

Role Overview: You are being sought after for the role of Mid-Senior DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a minimum of 6 years of experience for DevOps and 7 years for SRE, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ownership. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around GCP infrastructure management, Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation tasks, and ensuring production reliability.

Key Responsibilities: - Take complete ownership of GCP infrastructure using Terraform IaC - Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts - Perform troubleshooting in production environments, conduct incident Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and ensure observability - Manage Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) deployments, scaling, and reliability - Drive platform automation initiatives and provide mentorship on production scenarios - Collaborate effectively with engineering teams to ensure system reliability

Qualifications Required: - Minimum 6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure engineering - Mandatory experience in GCP ownership along with expertise in Terraform (IaC, state management, modules) - Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation tasks - Hands-on experience with CI/CD Pipelines or GKE deployments and scaling - Strong skills in troubleshooting Deep Linux OS issues and conducting production incident RCA - Exposure to observability tools, log analytics, and Cloud Monitoring

Additional Details: The location for this role is in Bangalore, specifically in the CV Raman Nagar area, with a hybrid work mode allowing 2-3 days per week in the office. The preferred notice period for candidates is immediate to 21 days. Nice-to-have skills include mentoring junior team members, expertise in scenario-based problem-solving, Kubernetes/GKE cluster troubleshooting, and exposure to CICD pipeline optimization at scale.
