About
Within this role you will be responsibe for implementing ICT projects with a specific focus on the Cyber Command. This offers our client the opportunity to contribute to highly secure and sovereign IT systems. Over the past six years, this department has grown from zero to 170 employees, providing a dynamic environment with a startup character.
Responsibilities
- Advise our client on IT systems and actively contribute to projects within an agile team.
- Accompany the system from inception to deployment (concept, development, and operation) throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Specify, evaluate, and configure infrastructure components for ICT platforms.
- Implement and migrate ICT platforms.
- Analyse disruptions and errors, initiate and monitor corrective measures.
- Define key metrics for service level verification.
- Establish escalation procedures.
- Maintain system technical documentation.
- Act purposefully and promote innovation and feedback culture in a client-integrated approach.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or apprenticeship as an IT specialist with several years of professional experience, or career changer with further training in IT and professional experience.
- In-depth knowledge of vitalisation and container technologies, Ansible, VMWare, Microsoft Active Directory, Data Centre Management, network technologies, and Windows and Linux systems.
- Programming skills in Python, PowerShell, and Bash-Shell.
- Additional knowledge in Firewall, NetApp, Kubernetes, Docker, ArcGIS, and Selenium is advantageous.
- Independent, proactive, and conscientious work style.
- Strong quality awareness and assertiveness.
- Excellent oral and written German skills, English skills (Level B2) are advantageous.
- Willingness for deployments in Thun and Bern.
- Military career as a non-commissioned officer, senior non-commissioned officer, or officer is a plus.
