Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the professionalization of document systems and ensure stable operation.
• You design future-oriented IT architectures and rely on Java and microservices to develop robust and clean code.
• As a DevOps enthusiast, you not only take on development but also responsibility for the entire lifecycle of your software in the cloud.
• In an agile team, you are more than just a developer; you are a DevOps Engineer who ensures and optimizes the operation of self-programmed software as well as third-party software.
• Your tasks include implementing automated tests, ensuring quality, and automating through CI/CD pipelines.
• You take on technical product responsibility, improve code structure, and ensure first-class monitoring.
• You also design a scalable architecture for document systems and integrate intelligent automation solutions to best identify and process customer inquiries.
• The integration of Software as a Service (SaaS) in Google Cloud completes your area of responsibility.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate has a degree or training in IT or equivalent qualifications acquired in practice.
• Initial experience in configuring and operating cloud environments, especially on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is advantageous.
• You should have experience in programming with Java, Spring, and optionally Angular and Python.
• Knowledge in building microservices using REST APIs is also important.
• Practical experience with technologies such as Google Cloud Functions, Terraform, Jenkins, test frameworks (JUnit, Jest, Cypress), Splunk, Grafana, and Gitlab is desirable.
• Clean code is a matter of course for you, and you bring team spirit and the motivation to familiarize yourself with new architectures and technologies.
• You are familiar with agile working and are willing to take responsibility and drive innovation.
