DevOps Engineer

About

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Vancouver, BC. This role requires extensive experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and automating processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud-based infrastructure, and automating processes to improve software development and deployment efficiency.
• Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS along with proficiency in automation tools such as K8s, Helm, Terraform, GIT, and other DevOps tools, enabling the creation of highly scalable and secure systems.
• Experience with Data dog and Splunk.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and principles (branching strategies, GitOps, zero downtime deployments, etc).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and frameworks in AWS DevOps.
• Proficiency in automation using Python and Bash Shell GNU/Linux.
• Experience with pipeline setup (CI/CD) using Maven, Make, Nexus repository, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge in Security, Observability, or Disaster Recovery, Cost Optimization is desirable.
