DevOps Engineer/Infrastructure Engineer

1-year contract (contract to hire)

Location: Hybrid (primary = st paul, MN alternative = Hartford, CT)

Hours: 8-5

Top Skills / Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in at least one or more of the following programming languages:
  • Java, .NET Core (C#), Go, C/C++, or Python
• Experienced in at least one or more scripting languages:
  • Microsoft PowerShell (Windows) or Bash (Linux)
• Experienced in high performance, high concurrency server-side application development.
• Very strong background on infrastructure technologies, specifically:
  • Public Clouds, especially Amazon AWS.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) deployments, such as Terraform.
  • Backend technologies, such as Network, Firewall, DNS, Database, Server, Storage, Load-balancer, etc.
  • Software deployment technologies, such as Puppet.
  • Container technologies, such as Kubernetes, are a big plus.

Ideal candidate will have:

• 4+ years of Infrastructure project-oriented programming experience
• 2+ years of Infrastructure Solutioning experience
