Role

We are currently looking for an experienced DevOps Developer / Software Engineer (w/m/d) for a client company in the Bern region. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic development team, working on the conception, development, and implementation of state-of-the-art software solutions. Your focus will be on both backend and frontend development, applying your in-depth knowledge of various programming languages and technologies.

Responsibilities

• You will significantly contribute to building an automation solution for end-to-end tests and deployments (CI/CD Delivery Pipeline).
• You will consistently follow the CI/CD approach, ensuring the required availability and quality.
• You will develop high-performance Java services and jobs based on Spring Boot and Hibernate with Oracle.
• You will support the team in software development, conduct code reviews, and provide 3rd-level support.
• You will analyze and resolve technical issues in the CI/CD pipeline and work on its continuous optimization.
• You will collaborate closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of new tools and technologies.
• You will document your work and share best practices to foster knowledge within the team and ensure the quality of software development.

Qualifications

• Completed education in computer science, higher vocational training (HF, FH, Uni), or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with cloud deployment (Kubernetes, Docker), CI/CD Delivery Pipeline, and GitLab.
• Passionate contribution to all aspects of agile software development.
• Knowledge in backend (Java, SQL, Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Knowledge in frontend (TypeScript, Angular) is an advantage.
• Very good spoken and written German skills.
• Experience in automating and optimizing development processes, along with a deep understanding of CI/CD practices.
• Team player, strong communication skills, and a solution-oriented approach.
• Willingness for continuous learning and adaptation to new technologies and methods.
