The Role

As a DevOps Engineer on the DC‑MLS® (Data Centric Multi‑Level Secure) Enterprise team, you’ll deploy, automate, and maintain multi‑level secure Linux configurations across multiple contracts. You’ll build the scripting, processes, and tooling that power DC‑MLS® deployments—working at the intersection of security, automation, and high performance computing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and maintain RHEL/SE Linux configurations via Red Hat Satellite and Ansible automation
  • Troubleshoot automation and deployment issues directly with site administration teams
  • Install and configure software libraries supporting DC‑MLS® Enterprise deployments
  • Monitor and evolve the DC‑MLS® platform in an agile, fast‑paced environment
  • Integrate third‑party vendor solutions into the automated deployment pipeline
  • Develop and execute test plans for filesystem upgrades, coordinating vendor support
  • Create and refine DevOps tooling to improve deployment speed and reliability
  • Contribute to new business growth and expanded customer engagements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or AIS + 5 years combined Linux, scripting/development, and configuration management experience
  • Proficient in Python, Perl, Korn, Bourne/Bash, Ansible, and other shell scripting
  • Experience with revision control (CVS, SVN, Git, GitLab, GitLab CI)
  • Hands‑on DevOps deployment automation management and development
  • Ability to analyze, debug, and maintain an existing DevOps codebase
  • Understanding of the full SDLC: requirements, use cases, design, coding, documentation, testing
  • Security+ Certification
  • TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph clearance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • SE Linux configuration and policy

  • Lustre, NFS, and other file systems
  • Ethernet networking and RDMA communications (InfiniBand, OmniPath)

Pay

$175,000.00 – $225,000.00 per year
