Goal of the Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer to support us in the design, build, and operation of the infrastructure behind our AI-powered platform. If you enjoy building reliable systems, automating everything, and helping teams deliver quickly and safely – then we would like to get to know you.

Your Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and further develop our cloud infrastructure on modern platforms (primarily Azure)
• Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters for productive workloads
• Manage containerized services with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Design and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Plan and execute automated release, deployment, and rollback strategies
• Support customer environments (onboarding, updates, and migrations in Azure tenants)
• Implement security concepts, secrets management, and access controls
• Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting for complete system transparency
• Operate AI infrastructure components (e.g., AI gateways like LiteLLM and model serving)
• Close collaboration with frontend, backend, and AI teams to optimize deployments and platform stability
• Continuous improvement of performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and automation
• Create and maintain technical documentation (infrastructure, deployments, processes)
• Clearly communicate infrastructure decisions to teams and stakeholders
• Work quickly and pragmatically on non-critical issues, and structured and reliably on productive systems

Your Profile

• Several years of experience as a DevOps, Platform, or Cloud Engineer in operating productive systems
• In-depth experience in operating Kubernetes environments
• Deep understanding of Linux, networks, and performance and security at the operating system level
• Strong cloud experience (Azure or other major cloud providers)
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with Docker, containerized workloads, and microservices
• Good understanding of security best practices, secrets management, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR)
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging systems
• Good scripting skills (Bash / Python) and proficient use of YAML

Nice to have

• Experience with migrations between cloud providers
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, GPU workloads, or MLOps
• Experience with AI gateways like LiteLLM or similar routing solutions
• Experience operating enterprise or multi-tenant SaaS environments
• Experience with OpenShift
