Role: DevOps / Platform / Site Reliability Engineer

This involves aligning the planning, execution, and management of cloud infrastructure and software services with the overall business strategy. Collaborates with other teams to ensure the infrastructure remains dependable, scalable, and equipped to meet the evolving requirements of the applications. Requirements: • 3 - 5yrs + DevOps / Site Reliability / Platform Engineer or System Administration experience in software environment. • Experience working with IaaS and public cloud platforms • Managing and provisioning of infrastructure through code (IaaC) • Experience with VMware Cloud Services, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform • Containerisation and orchestration: EG Kubernetes and Docker • Infrastructure-as-Code tools Terraform, Ansible – essential • CI/CD and DevOps pipeline automation: Experience building and maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI • Strong knowledge of security risks and mitigation thereof • MySQL, Postgres database administration

Strong skills in the following: • Network routing and core principles • Solid experience and good knowledge working with Linux containers and virtual machines • Knowledge of cloud platform environments • Experience within software development environment including god understanding of software development principles • Good knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and automation • Solid experience in Unix/Linux administration • Experience in Linux container orchestration
