We seek a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Specialist to become part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess a robust technical background, experience with containerization technologies, and a comprehensive understanding of cloud services, especially AWS. We’re looking for a hands-on professional who is enthusiastic about automation and continuous integration/deployment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enhance the software development process.
• Developing and managing containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploying, managing, and monitoring applications on VMware or AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams for seamless software integration and delivery.
• Automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
• Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing operations.
• Implementing security best practices across all stages of the development lifecycle.
• Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and architecture.

Qualifications required:

• A minimum of 14 years of DevOps experience with Linux-based systems on similar programs or contracts.
• A Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a closely related field. Alternatively, five years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.

Preferred qualifications:

• AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with documenting and implementing security controls for Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes or similar container and orchestration technologies.
• Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Security Clearance:

• Must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance.
