DevOps Systems Engineer

Job Description

Mission and Activity Description:

Integration & Deployment

o Installation, administration, integration, and deployment of functional and technical software across all environments and IT systems hosted by the DNI, adhering to a DevOps approach and following DevOps best practices.

o Objective: To ensure the smooth, high-quality, and secure delivery of IT changes, working in close collaboration with development team members and acting as a liaison with operations teams.

o Contributes to providing a consolidated overview of changes.

o Ensures the reliability of release packaging in collaboration with development teams.

o Serves as a cross-functional point of contact specifically for the MGAR/MRH project, reinforcing DevOps activities within their respective POS scope.

CI/CD

o Implement industrialization and continuous deployment tools across multiple technology stacks (.NET, Kubernetes, Data, legacy COBOL).

o Automate, enhance the reliability of, and optimize deployments (via quality gates).

o Provide guidance and support to teams regarding the implemented tools.

OPS / Systems Engineering

o Ensure the operability, reliability, and security of applications.

o Manage the provisioning of environments and ensure their continued operational readiness over time.

o Develop continuous feedback tools.

Guidance & Support

o Share DevOps best practices.

o Coordinate with other IT Department teams to harmonize production methods and procedures.

Champion and contribute to end-to-end security improvements.

Expected Seniority: Confirmed / Experienced Profile.

Skills :

Expertise in CI/CD tools: Git, OpenShift / K8s, Artifactory, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, XL/Deploy, XLRelease, Helm, Ansible.

Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (Java or .NET C#, JavaScript / TypeScript, etc.).

Proficiency in various operating systems: Windows, Linux.

Additionally, you possess:

Significant experience in the implementation and development of Microservices-oriented and Web API architectures (Apigee, Docker, K8s, Kafka, SQL Server, NoSQL).

Profile (Required Experience, Knowledge, and Professional Skills)

Engineering background / Higher education degree (2-3 years post-secondary) with over 5 years of experience, OR Higher education degree (4-5 years post-secondary) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps
