Role: Devops/Platform Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Exp: 5-7 yrs

Mode of interview : Virtual

Must have:

Perform VM creation, configuration, and decommissioning in Azure.

Handle VM disk operations, including adding, expanding, and managing disk storage.

Manage and execute VM backup, snapshot creation, and restore operations.

Perform VM resizing based on performance or workload requirements.

Configure and maintain Azure Backup policies.

Provide IAM access to Azure resources ensuring proper RBAC practices.

Troubleshoot NSG (Network Security Group) rules and connectivity issues.

Server Administration (Linux & Windows)

Troubleshoot server-related issues including:

Server downtime

Certificate issues

RDP connection problems

File server connectivity

Perform OS patching for Linux and Windows servers and handle related troubleshooting.

Install, configure, and uninstall software packages as required.

Manage file restoration, permission issues, and system recovery tasks.

Automation & Tools

Utilize Ansible for configuration management and automation tasks.

Implement server automation scripts and optimize operational workflows.

ITIL & Governance

Handle Incident, Change, and Problem Management following ITIL standards.

Perform vulnerability remediation and collaborate with security teams to maintain compliance.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience in Linux and Windows Server Administration.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including VM, storage, networking, backup, and IAM.

Experience with Ansible or similar automation/configuration tools.

Solid troubleshooting skills across compute, networking, backups, and OS layers.

Practical knowledge of server patching, security updates, and vulnerability fixes.

Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incidents, Change, Problem Management).
